Orlando Pirates, who recently parted ways with their head coach and narrowly missed out on three major trophies, have entered a phase of restructuring.
According to the latest transfer rumors, Pirates — set to finish second in the South African League — have reportedly reached an agreement with one of the most in-form players in the country this season.
Stellenbosch midfielder Sihle Nduli has verbally agreed to join Orlando Pirates. The 29-year-old has delivered highly impressive performances over the past two seasons.
Nduli, who had also been linked with Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns, has now been secured by Pirates. Reports suggest that he will become a Pirates player next month when he becomes a free agent.
This move is seen as a significant step for Pirates, whose season started like a dream but ended in disappointment.
However, the club is also targeting other reinforcements to strengthen the squad ahead of next season.
