Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Siyabonga Zulu has tragically lost his life in a car accident in Mpumalanga.
The player, who typically played as a left-back, had made 80 appearances in the South African league.
Initially, the cause of Zulu’s death was unclear, leading to various speculations. However, it was later confirmed that the 31-year-old former footballer passed away while traveling from Driekoppies to Secunda in Mpumalanga.
Sundowns expressed their condolences to their former player with the following statement:
