Filmmakers like Biodun Stephen, Judith Audu, Nora Awolowo, and Kayode Kasum attended the event. Along with other high-profile guests, it provided a chance for networking and exchanging ideas.
During the event, Rollpay Africa introduced its innovative platform. Rollpay Africa offers a solution to streamline the payment processes for cast, crew, and vendors, as well as to manage and pay production teams efficiently.
The Film Tech Connect Exhibition emphasized the importance of using technology to address challenges in Africa’s film industry, specifically in managing production payroll and financial management.
Two panel discussions were held, with industry experts addressing film financing, talent management, legal affairs, and content distribution.
The first panel, “Exploring the Future: Developing Innovative Distribution Solutions for Filmmakers,” discussed how filmmakers can manage production payments, distribute content more effectively, and improve financial management.
The second panel, “The Future of FilmTech: Challenges and Solutions for Filmmakers,” focused on the existing challenges in the industry and how technology is being used to solve these issues and streamline the filmmaking process.
Additionally, Nile Entertainment’s 2025 film slate was showcased at the event.
