The Basketball Africa League has come to an end.
In this competition, where the strongest teams from across the continent faced off, the Libyan side Al Ahli Tripoli claimed the championship by defeating Angola’s Petro de Luanda with a commanding score of 88-67.
The Libyan team had also completed the group stage of the tournament undefeated. Throughout the tournament, they consistently proved that they were unmatched.
On the same day, the third-place match was held between Algerian team Itthad Alexandria and Rwandan side ARS.
In a high-scoring encounter, Itthad Alexandria—who had stumbled in their previous two games—suffered another defeat and finished the tournament in fourth place.
ARS, on the other hand, convincingly beat their opponent 123-90 to secure third place in the tournament.
