Borussia Dortmund loaned Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka during the winter transfer window.
The German club is very pleased with the young player’s performance and plans to make his move permanent. When Chukwuemeka was first loaned, he struggled with injuries, but he quickly regained his form.
The German club is expected to pay 30 million euros for the player. However, this amount may be paid after Dortmund qualifies for the Champions League.
The young Nigerian scored his first goal last weekend against SC Freiburg. Additionally, in the 68 minutes he played, he won more duels than any other player on the field.
Having achieved success at the club level, the young player is also being closely monitored internationally. Chukwuemeka has played for England’s U17 to U21 national teams, but he could still choose to play for Nigeria.
Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle is known to have been observing the young player. Tosin Adarabioyo and Faustino Anjorin are also among the other players being monitored.
