South Korean Company Vision Group and Liberian Tuma Enterprises Sign MoU to Strengthen Partnership
South Korean company Vision Group and Liberian Tuma Enterprises have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their collaboration, which is expected to drive further growth in the African market for both companies.
Vision Group, a South Korean company with branches in India, China, Russia, Vietnam, Europe, and the Middle East, specializes in artificial intelligence-based smart farming, telecommunications, app development, and renewable energy solutions. Having formed several global partnerships aimed at expansion, the company now seeks growth in Africa through its partnership with Tuma Enterprises.
Liberian-based Tuma Enterprises has offices in countries such as Sierra Leone, Ghana, Kenya, and the United States. The company specializes in smartphone, electric vehicle, and blockchain technologies and plans to make affordable, high-quality smartphones available across Africa.
This partnership has the potential to significantly increase their ability to expand smartphone availability. The phones will feature long battery life, compatibility with low-speed networks, and strong security features.
Through this collaboration, the digital access gap across the continent may be reduced.
Moreover, the partnership is expected to increase local employment and strengthen regional economies. The two companies also plan to build electric vehicle infrastructure, including charging stations and service networks, as part of this partnership.
Additionally, the two companies will keep the door open for new partners to help create a sustainable future.
Vision Group Chairman Dae-Yong Han commented on the partnership:
“This collaboration with Tuma Enterprises is an important opportunity for Vision Group to expand its platform and technology into the African market.”
“We will continue to provide tailored solutions that meet local needs, leading the growth of Africa’s technology industry in partnership with Tuma Enterprises.”
