South Africa will face Australia in the World Cricket Test Championship Final in June.
Ahead of the exciting match, South Africa has announced its squad. Temba Bavuma will captain the team, and Lungi Ngidi, who had been sidelined due to a groin injury, returns to the squad.
Tony de Zorzi, Ryan Rickelton, and Aiden Markram will form the top-order batting options, while rising star Tristan Stubbs, David Bedingham, and captain Bavuma will strengthen the middle order.
The all-rounders in the team are Wiaan Mulder and Marco Jansen. Behind the stumps will be Kyle Verreynne.
The fast-bowling lineup will feature Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, Dane Paterson, and Corbin Bosch. The spin department will consist of Keshav Maharaj and Senuran Muthusamy.
South Africa finished the league stage in first place with a points percentage of 69.44%. At home, they secured victories over Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and drew with India.
On the road, they defeated the West Indies and Bangladesh, with their only defeat coming in the series against New Zealand.
