Moses Shumah, who emerged as the top scorer in the Kenyan Premier League, has completed a move to one of Zambia’s most storied football clubs, Power Dynamos.
The forward, who previously played for Kakamega Homeboyz, netted 17 goals last season and claimed the prestigious Golden Boot award.
In the upcoming season, the 22-year-old striker aims to carry his success into the CAF Champions League.
Speaking about the transfer, Shumah said:
“I will definitely miss Homeboyz. I truly enjoyed my time at the club and had a great relationship with everyone, especially the club owner Cleophas Shimanyula, who treated me very well.”
“Opportunities like this come once in a lifetime. There was no way I could turn down such a lucrative offer. I’m really looking forward to having a brilliant season with Dynamos.”
Still very young, Shumah has plenty of room to grow. If he manages to prove himself at Power Dynamos, he could soon take a significant step forward in his career.
