Other African teams breaking into the world’s top 50 include Ivory Coast, the reigning AFCON champions, and Tunisia, who completed their qualifiers unbeaten.
At the global summit, Spain continue their impressive run and sit comfortably at number one, while Argentina, the reigning world champions, hold second place. France, often described as a “perfect team,” remain close behind in third.
