Spanish Giant Sevilla Could Transfer Milan’s Nigerian Winger Samuel Chukwueze in the Winter Window
Sevilla, the Spanish football giant, could sign AC Milan’s Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze during the winter transfer period. Chukwueze joined AC Milan in the summer of 2023 with great expectations, but he has not met those expectations so far.
Chukwueze has been linked with clubs such as Arsenal, Real Betis, and Bologna for the winter transfer window, but he has not received any official offers. The main reason for this is likely that he is recovering from an injury. Sevilla, however, seems to be showing more serious interest in the winger.
Last year, the Spanish club signed two Nigerian players, Chidera Ejuke and Kelechi Iheanacho. During this transfer window, they have made a deal for another Nigerian, Akor Adams. This means that Samuel Chukwueze could easily adapt to Sevilla, but the club does not have the budget to buy him permanently. Therefore, a loan offer is expected.
However, AC Milan is currently at a critical point, and the team is aiming to finish in the top 4. Samuel Chukwueze, who scored the winning goal for the team in their victory over Parma on Sunday, could now become an even more valuable player for the squad.
Chukwueze, however, wants to stay at Milan. A potential move to Sevilla would be a step back in his career.
