Mohamed Salah, who has just won the Premier League title with Liverpool for the second time, has set his sights on an even bigger goal for next season.
Having finished as both the top scorer and top assist provider in the league, Salah is one of the frontrunners for this year’s Ballon d’Or.
The Egyptian forward has contributed to 46 goals in 37 matches and now wants to lead his team to Champions League glory.
He shared his motivation with the following words:
“Next year, I will go again to break records! As a team, we want to win the Premier League again, but now our main priority will be the Champions League. Of course, winning the Premier League again would still be very special.”
“So yes, winning the Premier League and the Champions League. Hopefully, more awards and records will come.”
“When the team wins trophies, individual awards come more easily.”
