Viktoria Plzen’s Nigerian forward Rafiu Durosinmi has attracted interest from several clubs thanks to his impressive performances, and it is expected that these teams will compete to sign him in January.
He is reportedly being seriously monitored by clubs such as Derby County, Huddersfield Town, Hull City, and Oxford United.
Standing out with his height and physical presence, Durosinmi has also proven himself as a reliable goalscorer. After being sidelined for 15 months due to a major injury, he returned to action and scored 8 goals in 21 matches. Because of this form, it is believed that he could be available for around £6 million.
German side Eintracht Frankfurt and Belgian club Genk had previously shown interest in the Nigerian striker, but both transfers fell through due to his injury.
Derby County currently appears to be the strongest candidate to secure Durosinmi’s signature. With their main rivals Hull City being banned from paying transfer fees in January, Derby’s chances of completing the deal are becoming more realistic by the day.
