Due to Dominic Solanke’s long-term injury, Tottenham Hotspur is looking to bring in a new striker this January.
The star forward has been sidelined for six months, which has significantly reduced the depth of Tottenham’s forward rotation.
One of the most serious candidates for the transfer is Hamza Igamane, who has been in excellent form at Rangers. The 22-year-old Moroccan player has been monitored by Tottenham scouts for a while now. While Richarlison has returned from injury, Tottenham doesn’t have another backup forward they can rely on.
Hamza Igamane could fill this gap effectively. The young player has scored 13 goals in 27 matches this season. He also netted 4 goals in the Europa League, attracting the attention of top clubs. Clubs like Aston Villa, Newcastle, Brentford, Fulham, Brighton, and Everton are interested in Igamane.
Despite the high interest from other English clubs, Tottenham could be a more attractive option for the Moroccan player. The winter transfer window in England closes on February 3rd, and Tottenham needs to act quickly to complete the transfer.
