Ghanaian star Thomas Partey, who delivered an outstanding performance during his time at Arsenal, will see his contract expire tomorrow.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta had previously expressed his desire to keep Partey at the club to prevent this situation, but the club’s management did not support this idea.
Following this departure, Arsenal are expected to make two new signings to strengthen their midfield.
These names include Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and Christian Norgaard from Brentford. The English club is reportedly in advanced talks for both transfers.
In addition, Jorginho is also expected to leave Arsenal alongside Partey.
Partey and Jorginho were among the most important players in Arteta’s squad.
If these transfers go through, it is thought that it may take time for the new players to fill the void left by Partey and Jorginho.
