Orlando Pirates are having an impressive transfer window.
So far, they’ve made 11 signings and are eyeing another key player. After narrowly missing out on the league title last season, Pirates have begun a major squad overhaul.
First, they appointed a new head coach, Abdeslam Ouaddou, and then announced the arrivals of Sipho Mbule, Masindi Nemtajela, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Tshepo Mashiloane, Sihle Nduli, Tshepang Moremi, Oswin Appollis, Sinoxolo Kwayiba, and Yanela Mbuthuma. Malian midfielder Abdoulaye Mariko and TS Galaxy defender Lebone Seema are also expected to be unveiled soon.
However, Pirates aren’t done yet. They’ve invited Zambian striker Enock Sakala, who played for Chippa United last season, to train with the squad.
Meanwhile, they may lose one of their brightest stars. Youngster Relebohile Mofokeng is attracting strong interest from overseas clubs, and his family is pushing for a move to Europe.
Next season, all eyes will be on the Buccaneers as they aim for silverware with their new coach and refreshed squad.
