Senegal international Papa Amadou Diallo has signed for Championship side Norwich City.
The 21-year-old promising winger made 28 appearances and scored 7 goals last season, playing a key role in helping his team secure promotion to Ligue 1.
He joins Norwich for a fee of £4.3 million, becoming one of the club’s most notable signings of the summer.
Speaking about the move, Diallo said:
“It has always been my dream to play in England. I’ve always really wanted Norwich City.”
“I’m excited about the project and the vision of this club. I can’t wait to come to England, meet my new teammates, and get to know the fans.”
Diallo began his professional career at Senegalese club Génération Foot and has made rapid progress in a short time.
If he continues to develop at this pace, it’s likely that a top-level club will come calling in the next two to three years.
