Nantes’ Nigerian winger Moses Simon has completed a transfer to Paris FC.
During his six years at his former club, Simon made a total of 201 appearances, scoring 37 goals and providing 42 assists, leaving a lasting legacy.
This past season was his best yet, as he registered 8 goals and 10 assists — the most productive campaign of his career.
Attracting interest from several clubs, the move was officially confirmed by Paris FC through their social media accounts. The club announced:
“The Nigerian winger, with nearly 180 Ligue 1 matches under his belt, joins Paris FC until 2028!”
Nantes also bid farewell to their long-time player with the following message:
“Moses Simon has joined Paris FC. FC Nantes wishes Moses all the best in his future career and warmly thanks him for his loyalty to the club. Thank you for everything, @Simon27Moses!”
Simon shared an emotional farewell to the club and its supporters, saying:
“Six seasons giving it my all with heart ❤️ Sprints, crosses, thrills… and memories etched in time. Thank you FC Nantes, thank you Beaujoire. I leave with pride and a piece of this club in my heart.”
The transfer fee is reported to be €7 million, and Simon will earn approximately €75,000 per week at his new club.
