Beşiktaş has cleared the final obstacles in the Ndidi transfer and has fully agreed to sign a 3+1 year contract with the Nigerian midfielder.
Ndidi, who had previously agreed with the black-and-white club, was also pursued by Real Betis; this caused the transfer process to be prolonged.
However, although Real Betis reached an agreement with Leicester City, they were unable to agree with the player’s side.
Beşiktaş continued to apply pressure in this transfer and is now close to a successful conclusion.
After Gedson Fernandes’ transfer to Spartak Moscow, Beşiktaş’s midfield had weakened. The Ndidi transfer looks set to fill that gap.
The player is expected to come to Istanbul soon for medical examinations.
