The 2025/2026 South African League season kicked off this week.
One of the strongest teams in the league, Kaizer Chiefs, will be without their head coach for their opening match against Stellenbosch FC.
This is because the experienced coach’s wife was involved in an accident in Tunisia. For this reason, Nabi returned to his home country on Friday evening to be with his wife and spend time with his family.
Nabi is expected to return to South Africa once the situation improves. In his absence, the team’s first assistant coach, Khalil Ben Youssef, and second assistant coach, Cedric Kaze, will take charge for the match.
The game will be played tomorrow and is scheduled to kick off at 17:30 South African time.
