MTN South Sudan has launched a mobile money project called “Mata Fekir.”
This project aims to further strengthen its digital ecosystem. It plans to achieve this by increasing access to financial services, simplifying transactions, and promoting savings through the campaign.
The campaign is part of a broader strategy that uses mobile technology to provide secure, affordable, and user-friendly financial services for individuals and small businesses.
MTN Fintech CEO Francis Matseketsa commented on the project:
“The Mata Fekir campaign is about giving people confidence to manage their money, grow their businesses, and plan for the future using the technology they already have.”
If this campaign is rolled out nationwide, it will include targeted awareness initiatives, educational programs, and various promotions aimed at increasing MoMo usage and financial literacy.
