Morocco and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) have taken steps to strengthen cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
ICESCO Director General Dr. Salim bin Mohamed Al-Malik was received at the headquarters of the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform in Rabat.
During the meeting, both sides discussed enhancing collaboration between Morocco and ICESCO in areas such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and the training and development of digital skills.
They also explored joint initiatives aimed at promoting innovation, building capacity in digital careers, and supporting inclusive access to digital technologies.
One of the main topics of discussion was the promotion of digital culture across the Islamic world.
Additionally, it was emphasized that Morocco’s position as a regional hub for digital innovation and transformation should be further strengthened.
