Morocco has formally approved a military cooperation agreement with Azerbaijan in the defense sector, according to an announcement on Friday.
The agreement, titled “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco on Military Cooperation in the Field of Defense,” was signed on October 30, 2024, in Rabat.
Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev signed the corresponding law to ratify the agreement, marking a significant step in strengthening defense ties between the two nations.
The move underscores Morocco’s commitment to expanding its international military partnerships and fostering closer ties with Azerbaijan in areas of mutual strategic interest.
