Yuji “Gump” Suzuki, a 34-year-old Japanese explorer, has successfully concluded a 6,000-kilometre journey from Kenya to South Africa, pulling a 100-kg rickshaw through five African nations.
Arriving in Cape Town on Sunday, Suzuki reflected on the emotional expedition that began in Kenya last July, traversing Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, and Namibia. Expressing gratitude for the support he received, he shared, “I couldn’t make it without you guys.”
Suzuki, known for his global adventures, has previously undertaken similar treks across China, India, Europe, and the United States. His latest feat adds to a decade-long journey of endurance, inspiring countless fans through his social media documentation and his motto of channeling the energy he receives from others.
