The 23-year-old Burkina Faso right-back, Issa Kabore, has been transferred on loan to Werder Bremen.
In the first half of the season, the defender played for Benfica and managed to get game time.
Kabore also delivered impressive performances for his national team, helping Burkina Faso advance to the later stages of AFCON.
His new team, Werder Bremen, currently sits in 7th place in the Bundesliga. The German club is aiming to secure a spot in the Champions League, but they are currently two points behind the qualification zone. However, the league is a long marathon, so it cannot be said that their task will be easy.
Kabore’s rights have belonged to English giant Manchester City since 2020. However, the player has yet to make an appearance for them. Instead, he has been loaned out to a different team each season.
Issa Kabore is a player with great potential. Werder Bremen might be the stepping stone he needs to take his career to the next level.
