The COSAFA Cup semi-finals will be played today. In the first match, South Africa, who advanced from Group A despite recording one draw and one loss, will face Comoros, the leader of Group D.
Although South Africa had a poor start to the tournament, they managed to edge out Zimbabwe and Mozambique on goal difference.
Comoros, on the other hand, topped their group by earning more points than Botswana and Zambia, securing their place in the semi-finals.
The other semi-final of the day will feature Angola, one of the tournament’s most in-form teams and the leader of Group B, against Group C winners Madagascar.
The Angola vs. Madagascar match will kick off at 13:00 GMT, while the South Africa vs. Comoros game is scheduled for 16:00 GMT.
The tournament will continue in a single-elimination format, with the winners meeting in the final on June 15.
