Galatasaray plans to strengthen their defense alongside Davinson Sanchez. In this regard, they are currently in talks with two players: Akanji from Manchester City and Wilfried Singo from AS Monaco.
The Ivory Coast international Singo has become a particularly hot topic since yesterday. Galatasaray, last season’s champion and off to a strong start this season, has made a €28 million bid for the player.
However, Monaco is demanding around €40 million from Galatasaray despite the generous offer. Although the gap is significant, discussions between the clubs are progressing positively.
Initially hesitant about moving to the Süper Lig, Singo is reportedly close to being convinced for the transfer. Galatasaray is expected to favor Singo, provided a more reasonable fee can be agreed upon.
If Galatasaray manages to make a player sale, this transfer could be completed in a short period.
