Three clubs have emerged as active contenders in the race to sign Victor Osimhen. Two days ago, Al-Hilal’s new head coach Simone Inzaghi spoke with the Nigerian star. Now, Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has also held a phone conversation in an attempt to convince the player.
While these two clubs have recently taken the lead in the transfer race, Liverpool are also reportedly interested in the striker. Galatasaray have already secured the signing of Leroy Sané and are planning to build a Champions League-caliber team by keeping Osimhen in the squad next season.
However, Galatasaray face serious competition from Al-Hilal, who have submitted an astronomical offer. The Saudi club has proposed a three-year contract worth €40 million per season. They are also said to be willing to trigger Osimhen’s €75 million release clause.
Liverpool, on the other hand, are taking a more serious and calculated approach in negotiations. Reports suggest that Napoli could be persuaded with a deal involving Darwin Núñez, Federico Chiesa, and an additional €20 million.
Victor Osimhen now faces a major decision: stay at Galatasaray and remain a fan favorite, join Al-Hilal for a record-breaking salary, or answer Liverpool’s call to Premier League glory. The Nigerian star remains undecided.
