Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who previously played for clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Borussia Dortmund, has returned to Marseille.
The 36-year-old had moved from Marseille to Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah last summer, but has now rejoined the French club for the new season.
In his first spell at Marseille, Aubameyang made a significant impact with 30 goals and 11 assists in 51 matches. This past season, he scored 21 goals and provided 3 assists in 36 games for Al-Qadsiah.
Throughout his career, the prolific forward has played a total of 728 matches, scoring 370 goals and providing 103 assists.
With the Gabon national team, he has scored 31 goals in 77 appearances.
Aubameyang is expected to bring valuable experience and much-needed firepower to Marseille’s attacking line.
