Egyptian AI startup Intella has raised $12.5 million in a Series A funding round.
Founded in 2021, the startup aims to solve complex challenges that global AI companies have struggled to address effectively in Arabic contexts.
Its AI model has achieved an impressive 95.73% accuracy across more than 25 Arabic dialects. A major challenge in global AI integration is that many international companies focus on Modern Standard Arabic.
However, most users interacting with AI in Arabic rely on everyday spoken language. Intella provides a successful solution precisely at this point.
Intella’s client portfolio spans finance, telecommunications, and government sectors, highlighting the wide applicability of its AI model.
With revenues more than doubling in 2024 and projected to grow sevenfold in 2025, Intella demonstrates the rapid scaling potential of Egyptian tech companies that deeply understand their regional markets.
This growth trajectory positions Egypt as a hub for Arabic language technology development.
To date, Intella has raised approximately $17 million in total funding, which underscores not only the success of Intella but also of Egypt as a whole.
