The CEO of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSME), Basel Rahmy, met with South Korean Ambassador Kim Jong Hyun to discuss cooperation opportunities in financing, entrepreneurship, training, and technology transfer.
This initiative is linked to Egypt’s Vision 2030 sustainable development goals.
Through this step, MSME aims to strengthen its cooperation with South Korea. The agency seeks to create resources that will support entrepreneurship and empower small businesses across the country.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from both the agency and the South Korean Embassy. Topics such as innovation and vocational training were discussed.
During the talks, it was emphasized that strengthening ties between Egypt and South Korea is essential to promoting sustainable economic growth.
In addition, South Korean Ambassador Kim Jong Hyun invited the agency to the Korea-Egypt Economic Cooperation Conference, scheduled for September 30.
