Nicolas Jackson, one of Chelsea’s key forwards, could transfer to another English club during this summer’s transfer window. Newcastle United is interested in the player.
The English club had previously shown interest in Benjamin Sesko, but that transfer fell through.
Now, Newcastle United, who are interested in the Senegalese forward, are also expected to convince Chelsea.
Chelsea is asking for at least twice the transfer fee they paid for the 24-year-old striker (£32 million).
Having signed players like João Pedro, Liam Delap, and Jamie Gittens, Chelsea has spent approximately 280 million euros during this summer transfer window.
Known for heavy spending in transfer windows, Chelsea has also generated nearly 208 million euros from player sales.
If this transfer goes through, the club will have balanced its spending in this summer’s transfer period.
