South African clubs Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch also advanced with ease, joined by USM Alger, Al Masry, CR Belouizdad, Djoliba, and Stade Tunisien, who all booked their places in the group stage.
Other teams participating in the tournament include Nairobi United, Otoho d’Oyo, Singida Black Stars, San Pedro, Maniema Union, and ZESCO United.
