Ghanaian star Thomas Partey is currently facing legal charges related to alleged crimes committed between 2021 and 2022.
According to the allegations, the charges include serious accusations such as rape and sexual assault. However, nothing has been officially proven yet.
For this reason, entertainment commentator Lawrence Asiamah, popularly known as “Bullgod”, has called on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the government of Ghana to support Partey during his ongoing legal process.
Bullgod highlighted Partey’s significant contributions to Ghanaian football, especially his key role in the country’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
“In these difficult times, we pray that God helps him and that he feels the support of the people behind him.”
“The GFA or the Ghanaian government must not leave him alone during this process. As a citizen who has made our country proud on the international stage, he deserves the necessary support.”
However, Ghanaian social media users reacted strongly to Bullgod’s statements.
Many argued that Partey could be guilty, and that it would be wrong for the public and the government to show open support before the legal process is concluded.
