Beşiktaş have officially announced the signing of Wilfred Ndidi. The transfer was finalized after the player successfully passed his medical examinations.
Beşiktaş signed the Nigerian midfielder from Leicester City for a transfer fee of €9.5 million.
The club agreed to a three-year contract with Ndidi, with an option to extend it for an additional year.
Known for his physicality and defensive abilities, Ndidi is expected to bring dynamism and tactical intelligence to Beşiktaş’s midfield, especially alongside Orkun Kökçü.
However, the Black Eagles are still expected to strengthen their squad with reinforcements on the wings.
According to Nigerian journalist Buchi Laba, another Nigerian player is also being targeted by Süper Lig clubs.
Although no official offer has been made yet, following the moves of Osimhen and Ndidi, this unnamed player is also expected to join one of Turkey’s “big three” clubs.
There has been no clear announcement yet regarding the identity of the player.
