The group stage of the Basketball Africa League has concluded, and the teams that will advance to the playoffs have been determined.
From the Sahara Group, Tunisian side US Monastirienne finished at the top with 4 wins. Angolan club Petro de Luanda followed closely behind with 3 victories, securing the second playoff spot from the group.
In the Nile Group, Libyan team Al Ahly Tripoli delivered an outstanding performance, winning all 6 of their matches and qualifying for the playoffs as group leaders. Armee Patriotique Rwandaise (APR) won 3 games and finished second in the group, also earning a place in the next round.
In the Kalahari Group, another team went undefeated. Egyptian club Ittihad Alexandria dominated their group with 6 wins out of 6, finishing first. They were followed by Nigerian side Rivers Hoopers, who secured the second playoff spot in the group.
A total of six teams have advanced to the next round, while six others have been eliminated from the tournament.
The teams that have exited the competition are Kriol Star, Ville De Dakar, MBB, Nairobi City Thunder, FUS Rabat, and Stade Malien.
