Atalanta’s star player Ademola Lookman has shown signs of returning to his former form after a long break.
In the Champions League match against Eintracht Frankfurt, the Nigerian forward scored his team’s opening goal.
During the game, he also provided an assist to Ederson, helping to double Atalanta’s lead. The final goal came from De Ketelaere, who finished off Scamacca’s shot that had hit the post. With these contributions, the Italian side defeated their opponent by three goals and moved up to 10th place in the Champions League standings.
Following Lookman’s resurgence, Atalanta may want to keep the player in their squad. The winger, whose name has been linked with Galatasaray, was reportedly very interested in the transfer.
However, if Atalanta decides not to let him go, they could demand a high transfer fee.
