Mozambique and Togo have signed a cybersecurity cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening incident response capacity and digital resilience across Africa.
Formalized during the opening of Mozambique’s first International Cybersecurity Week, the agreement establishes a framework for real-time information sharing, joint capacity building, and operational coordination between the two countries’ Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs).
Through this agreement, both countries will be able to expand their technical and operational capabilities while creating a joint platform for cooperation against cyber threats.
Togo—known for its rapid progress in cybersecurity—and Mozambique, which has developing capabilities, are determined to bring forward their respective strengths within this partnership.
This collaboration represents an important step toward enhancing digital security and resilience in Africa. It also offers a model for regional cooperation and information sharing in the face of growing cyber threats.
