Manchester United’s new signing, Bryan Mbeumo, has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for his impressive performances.
During this period, Mbeumo featured in three matches, recording three goals and one assist. With this achievement, the Cameroonian forward has won the award for the second time this year.
Mbeumo claimed the honor ahead of notable players such as Matty Cash (Aston Villa), Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle United), Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Eli Junior Kroupi (Bournemouth), Nordi Mukiele (Sunderland), Igor Thiago (Brentford), and Jurrien Timber (Arsenal).
Manchester United signed the star forward during the summer transfer window for £71 million. Although the move was initially criticized for its cost, the Cameroonian winger has met expectations, scoring five goals and providing one assist in 11 appearances so far.
Manchester United currently sit eighth in the Premier League table but could challenge for second place with consistent results.
Following last season’s disappointing campaign, this resurgence appears to be closely linked to Mbeumo’s outstanding form.
