Gabon’s Minister of Digital Economy, Telecommunications and Post, Mark Alexander Dumba, held a meeting in Rabat with Morocco’s Minister for Digital Transition and Administration Reform, Amal Al-Falah Al-Sagroshny, who reports to the Prime Minister.
During the meeting, the need to strengthen cooperation between Morocco and Gabon in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and digital skills development was discussed.
Minister Al-Falah Al-Sagroshny emphasized the depth of relations between the two countries and described the visit as “a practical step to translate partnership into tangible projects for the benefit of African youth.”
She shared Morocco’s achievements in digital transformation, highlighting initiatives such as the “Digital Morocco for Sustainable Development” (D4SD Hub) platform and JobInTech, which provides training and upskilling in digital professions. She also invited Gabon to participate in the upcoming GITEX Africa exhibition.
Minister Mark Alexander Dumba praised Morocco’s leadership in digital transformation and its standing in the African and international digital and technological landscape. He expressed Gabon’s interest in benefiting from Morocco’s successful experiences.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two ministers agreed to launch joint programs focused on artificial intelligence training, data analysis, and digital skills development.
