Malaysia is expanding its partnership network with Africa in the fields of technology and trade.
The country also aims to strengthen its initiatives in these areas with nations such as Brazil and India.
For instance, Malaysia has decided to sign a memorandum of cooperation with Brazil in the semiconductor sector, while it plans to hold negotiations with India to enhance technological and industrial collaboration.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is strongly committed to expanding trade relations with BRICS members and African countries. Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Liew Chin Tong stated that these initiatives are highly aligned with that objective.
Through these agreements, Malaysia aims to diversify its economy and ensure sustainable growth. These steps will also help attract new investors and strengthen the country’s global competitiveness.
Meanwhile, Africa stands to benefit economically from these partnerships, gaining new opportunities for development and industrial growth.
