The Ministry of Technology and Science of Zambia hosted Czech Republic Ambassador Jiří Kyrian.
During the meeting, methods to deepen technological cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
The discussions also covered the Tech4Zambia Forum, scheduled to take place on 7 October 2025 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lusaka. The forum aims to bring together representatives from government, the private sector, academia, and civil society to expand dialogue on technology and innovation.
Additionally, plans for a 2026 visit to Prague and the European Space Agency were discussed, along with ongoing initiatives under the SLIM Project.
Ambassador Kyrian highlighted the growing interest of Czech companies in Zambia, noting that this interest spans sectors such as space technology and cybersecurity.
This visit demonstrated both countries’ commitment to strengthening their ties in technology, digital transformation, and innovation.
