AC Milan had reached an agreement with both Bayer Leverkusen and Nigerian striker Victor Boniface over his transfer.
However, an issue was discovered during medical tests, and the Italian club decided to pull out of the deal.
Now, they have turned their attention to another Nigerian talent.
This time, their target is Getafe’s promising young player, Christianus Uche.
Wolves had already agreed a €20 million deal with Getafe for the midfielder, and the transfer was expected to be completed soon. But Milan’s late intervention has complicated the process.
Following the collapse of the Boniface transfer, the Italian giants have now moved to secure both Uche and Sporting Lisbon forward Conrad Harder.
After making a poor start to the league, AC Milan are looking to bounce back by strengthening their squad.
Both players carry the potential to become stars in the future, and if these transfers go through, Milan could benefit greatly from their contributions in the coming years.
