The 2024 CHAN African Nations Championship continues with great excitement.
This tournament, featuring star players from local leagues, has already determined the teams from Groups A and B that will advance to the knockout stage.
In the quarterfinals, which will begin on 22 August, the winner of Group A, Kenya, will face the runner-up of Group B, Madagascar. In another clash, the winner of Group B, Tanzania, will take on the runner-up of Group A, Morocco.
In Groups C and D, however, the final matches have not yet been played.
For this reason, the teams that will advance to the quarterfinals from these groups have not been decided. In Group C, Uganda leads with 6 points, but Algeria and South Africa still remain in contention to progress.
Two of these three teams will move on to the next round, while Niger and Guinea have been officially eliminated from the tournament.
In Group D, Senegal and Sudan, both with 4 points, currently occupy the top two spots, but Congo still has a chance to advance. Nigeria, on the other hand, has been officially knocked out of the tournament.
