Kaizer Chiefs, one of South Africa’s oldest and most prestigious clubs, which fell behind their rivals last season, has made several signings to strengthen their squad.
Aiming to deliver a stronger performance next season, Chiefs have signed Thabiso Monyane and Paseka Mako, Ethan Chislett, striker Flavio Silva, and left-back Nkanyiso Shinga.
With these new additions, Chiefs’ expected starting XI is shaping up as follows: Bvuma; Monyane, Miguel, Dortley, Shinga; Ndlovu, Cele; Lilepo, Chislett, Mako; Du Preez.
Although Chiefs have significantly reinforced their squad, they still need a proven goal scorer. Meanwhile, Sundowns have largely retained their squad, and Pirates have brought in 11 new players under their new head coach.
If Chiefs manage to perform effectively next season, the league race in South Africa is set to be very exciting.
