Felix Agu, Werder Bremen’s left-back who has shown remarkable progress over the past two seasons, is attracting interest from clubs across Europe, especially from England, Germany, and Italy.
The 25-year-old player, who chose to represent the Nigerian national team despite having the option to play for Germany, has begun talks with these clubs through his agent. However, no official offers have been made yet.
He had a release clause of €8 million valid until May, but no club managed to reach an agreement within that period.
As a result, Werder Bremen is expected to demand a higher transfer fee for the player.
Sources close to Agu indicate that he is eager to embark on a new challenge.
Given the serious interest in him, it seems quite likely that he will move to a different club during this transfer window.
