Teams have begun arriving in Morocco, the host country for the AFCON Women’s tournament, which will take place from July 5 to July 26, 2025.
This tournament will feature the continent’s top 12 teams and will determine the strongest women’s national team in Africa.
In Group A, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Morocco, Senegal, and Zambia will face off. Group B will see Algeria, Botswana, Nigeria, and Tunisia compete. In Group C, Ghana, Mali, South Africa, and Tanzania will battle for qualification.
The opening match of the tournament will take place on July 5 between Morocco and Zambia. After the group stage matches, the tournament will continue with a knockout format.
