At the end of last season, Orlando Pirates decided to part ways with their head coach, Jose Riveiro. Following this decision, Mandla Ncikazi was appointed as the interim coach.
The South African club has now decided to continue with Mandla Ncikazi for one more year. When he took charge of the team at the end of the season, he managed four matches, securing one win and three draws.
A club source explained the decision as follows:
“Coach Mandla Ncikazi has served the club professionally in various roles and is therefore highly valued.”
“Additionally, he has a contract with the club until next year, and he has been allowed to stay for the duration of that agreement.”
“Part of the plan includes him continuing to serve in the technical team next season as well.”
