Spanish star Alvaro Morata has announced that he will not remain at Galatasaray if striker Victor Osimhen leaves the club. The forward, who is on loan from AC Milan, has a contract with Galatasaray until January 20, 2026.
Morata has built strong chemistry with Osimhen since his arrival. He previously praised the Nigerian striker, saying:
“Osimhen is a great person and one of the best centre-forwards in the world. I hope we will all celebrate the championship together. This is an incredible country, my family is very happy here, I want it to continue like this.”
When asked about the possibility of staying, Morata made the following statement to Sabah newspaper:
“If you don’t replace Osimhen, I’ll stay at Galatasaray.”
Since Osimhen’s loan deal is set to expire at the end of the season, Morata’s stance shows that he is determined to remain at the club unless a suitable replacement is brought in for the Nigerian forward.
